Sidon is Lebanon’s third largest city. It is referred to as Saida within Lebanon. Located along the Mediterranean coast, this bustling ancient metropolis is often described as the gateway to Southern Lebanon. مرحبا، أنا دارين. بحلقة اليوم راح نكسدر صوب جنوب لبنان، وتحديداً على منطقة لقّبوها بـ “بوابة الجنوب اللبناني” نظراً لجمالها وأهميتها وبحرها. مليانة تراث وحضارة  وناسها أطيب وأكرم ناس,.وهي صيدا، المدينة اللبنانية الحلوة على الشط اللبناني الجنوبي.

Hello, I’m Dareen. Today’s episode will be a trip towards southern Lebanon, specifically to a place dubbed “The Gate of Southern Lebanon”, due to its beauty, importance and sea access. It is rich in heritage and civilization, and its people are the most generous of all. This place is Saida: the sweet Lebanese city on the southern Lebanese coast.

صيدا هي تالت أكبر المدن بلبنان، وبتوقع على جنوب العاصمة بيروت، وبتبعد عنها حوالي 45 كلم، يعني 35 دقيقة بالسيارة.

Saida is the third largest city in Lebanon. It is located to the south of the capital Beirut, about 45 km away, meaning 35 minutes by car.
